Gundlach Equipment Corporation to Supply Crushers and Cage Mills for Major Expansion of Canadian Potash Supplier
Gundlach Equipment Corporation, a leading equipment supplier of industrial crushers, has been awarded a significant contract to supply crushers and cage mills to a large expansion project in southeastern Canada at a major potash supplier company.
Thirty-seven Gundlach crushers, a mix of both roll crushers and cage mills (Cage Paktors®), will be used to refine ore to the stringent product sizing requirements of the potash industry.
The crushers will be used to size potash ore on the wet side of the production process and size potash product on the compaction side of the plant.
"Having worked closely with potash industry leaders for over twelve years has afforded us the opportunity to gain valuable insight on the specific demands and critical sizing requirements within the potash industry,” Phil Schaefer, regional sales manager for Gundlach Equipment Corporation said. "This long history with the potash industry has provided a wealth of practical knowledge in designing and engineering crushers able to meet their strict guidelines,” he added.

Delivery of the crushers will be completed by April 2011 with full operation of the facility expected by early 2012.
