Gundlach Equipment Corporation operates globally serving industries such as coal, steel, chemical, petroleum coke, mineral salts and electric power. Gundlach designs, engineers and supplies a wide variety of crushers and crushing solutions that exceed the expectations and demands of these industries.

Gundlach designed its first single-stage, two roll crusher in 1948, transforming the way coal mines size product to meet market demands. It was the first crusher that could economically break 50 mm coal to 19 mm pieces in a single pass.
Another breakthrough Gundlach design, the first two-stage, four roll crusher, marked the first time that a single crusher could take run-of-mine coal and crush it to 19 mm size.
Today, Gundlach roll crushers are the only crushers available with exclusive 3-D crushing technology, using intermeshing continuous tooth roll design and positive roll timing that delivers the industry’s best dimensional product control, fewer fines and elimination of over-size material.

The two-stage, four roll Gundlach breaker provides the high tonnage production the world’s largest coal mines require, while producing a product with less fines and the uniform sizing that power plants demand. The two-stage design eliminates the need for secondary crushing and extra handling, while reducing coal to precise, market ready product requirements.
Gundlach makes a number of different crusher types to size product to a desirable output, including roll crushers and breakers for primary and secondary crushing of product down to 10 mm., the Cage-Paktor® cage mills for particle sizing below 10 mm, the NANOSIZ-R® roll mill for 19 mm feeds to 1600-micron product, and the Accu-Grind and 1000 Series roll crushers for online sampling, limited space and small tonnage crushing.
We invite you to learn more about Gundlach crusher technology. Consult with our crusher application engineers to get the full story for your process needs. Test your product in our test facilities, and see for yourself how Gundlach’s application engineering, maintenance-friendly crusher designs, customer support and service all play a role in making Gundlach the preferred crushing solution for coal, potash, salts, lime and industrial minerals.
Gundlach's engineering services work with a wide variety of industries to provide consultation on crushing problems. After initial consultation, Gundlach engineering services fit exact crusher features and special equipment to meet the application needs of our customers.
Using sophisticated computer modeling, Gundlach engineers can accurately predict design performance. This process provides greater accuracy than building prototypes.
In Gundlach's Materials Testing Center, tests are performed on the materials to be crushed with full size production equipment to verify design projections. Gundlach maintains a large inventory of crusher rolls and crusher models for testing purposes. Tests are performed by an independent third party world-leading testing service to provide complete and accurate information to ensure you’re selecting the best equipment for your application.
Gundlach's modern Belleville, Illinois manufacturing plant has complete fabricating, machining, robotic welding and assembly services. Using Computer-Aided design and manufacturing, Gundlach's CNC cutting and machining equipment is programmed to create consistently high quality crushing equipment and parts.
Robotic welding is used to manufacture crusher rolls and cages to exact standards and to rebuild rolls. This level of durability, accuracy, and cost reduction cannot be matched by manual systems.
Gundlach has expanded its plant to over 50,000 square feet. To handle larger equipment, a 25-ton, double girder crane is available. To learn more about Gundlach's manufacturing capabilities, download the Gundlach Manufacturing Brochure - PDF (requires registration).
Gundlach equipment is manufactured in the United States by Gundlach and by Licensee in India. Gundlach is represented in Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Czech Republic, People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Indonesia, United Kingdom and South Africa.
