Gundlach designed the first and only size reduction equipment able to provide control over product size in all three dimensions. This 3-D crushing capability delivers higher quality product, less fines and consistently repeatable performance.
Gundlach roll crushers with 3-D crushing technology use field-proven intermeshing continuous tooth roll designs, positive roll timing and exclusive Nitroil® tramp relief system. No sizer can deliver 3-D product. No other roll crusher can deliver 3-D product. Only Gundlach roll crushers provide precise cubical product sizing with fewer fines and maximized yield.
Gundlach roll crushers size a wide range of materials with precise product control, including hard-to-handle graphite electrodes, hot iron sinter, ROM, frozen coal, coke, salts and other industrial minerals.
Gundlach improved on the cage mill by moving both drives to one side using a shaft-within-a-shaft design. This leaves the opposite side of the mill easily accessed for maintenance of the cages and housing liners. This exclusive Gundlach design saves hours of labor for drive removal, realignment and setup.
Gundlach's impactor design needs no screens. The Cage-Paktor uses multiple rows of impact bars to offer selective stages of impact reduction. The operating speed (rpm) is the only factor affecting product sizes. Multiple stages of crushing inside the Cage-Paktor minimize product oversize, achieving greater crushing efficiency and producing more product in the size range desired. Already-to-size particles pass through the crusher, reducing horsepower requirements. The compact design also requires less floor space.
All Gundlach crushers are designed for easy maintenance. Breaker and roll crusher housing assemblies are fabricated in sections for fast access to upper and lower rolls. An innovative roll removal rail and bearing coupling design allows users to roll out crusher rolls without disturbing the main bearings or drives.
Gundlach's Cage-Paktor® completely re-thought cage mill design. By moving both drives to one side of the machine using a revolutionary shaft-within-a-shaft design, one side of the mill is fully exposed for easy maintenance of the cages and housing liners.
Calculating equipment cost isn't complete until the cost and effort to maintain it are factored in. Every Gundlach crusher concept starts with a total commitment to maintenance-friendly design.
